As has been the tradition since Vaughan was born, we took this family picture tonight (New Year’s Eve). Here’s wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year!

Happy New Year!
Thursday, December 31st, 2009Holiday Wrap Up 2009
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009We had another great Christmas here at the Woodard house. We actually had four Christmases starting the weekend before with my sister and her family, then moving on to Christmas Eve at Rick’s mom’s house, then Christmas morning at our house and then followed by Christmas night at my parents’ house. By December 26th, Vaughan was sure there were going to be more presents to open! Here are a few pictures of the festivities!

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009Rheya at 10 Months
Monday, December 28th, 2009Here’s Rheya looking adorable in her matching hat and sweater!
She’s doing so much! She’s pulling up and standing by herself for a few seconds (when she’s too busy concentrating on something else to notice that she’s not holding on to anything). She’s doing lots of imitating which is an absolute hoot! She learned how to blow raspberries, so she’ll do that for long periods of time…until she’s totally covered in drool and spit. She has been showing some interest in table foods and loves milk. Oh, and her favorite thing to do these days is wrestle with Vaughan!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Vaughan!
Monday, December 7th, 2009Can you believe it? He’s three already! Vaughan is really growing up and becoming more and more like a little boy…he’s just not that little toddler anymore! We had a party at a local pizza place and we asked all of our party guests to bring donations for the Cheyenne Animal Shelter rather than gifts for the birthday boy. It was great fun and the folks at the shelter were very happy to have the donations. Here are a few pictures from the party and our trip to the shelter to drop of the donations.
We did a “paw print” theme since we were giving gifts to the dogs and cats at the shelter.
These were all the items our party guests brought!
Here’s Vaughan with some really adorable sculptures outside the shelter.
