Since we had a really nice day and some cool shade in the backyard, I stapled a big sheet of paper up on the fence and let the kids go wild with some paint! It was great fun and they created a lovely masterpiece!

Monday, August 2nd, 2010Well, I’m not sure “frontierin’” can count as a word, but that’s what we did for another fun Frontier Days! We attended a parade and hung out at the midway/carnival. We also went to the pancake breakfast and watched the Thunderbirds fly on a very cloudy and dreary day. Finally, Rick and Vaughan wrapped up the week with the rodeo finals!
We also got a chance to do some of these activities with Rick’s Uncle Danny and his friend, Jill, visiting from Florida. They loved all the fun and had a great time with Vaughan and Rheya.
